All you need to do is install the app and walk into stores and you will earn rewards points called “kicks”. These kicks can be redeemed for store gift cards, music downloads, Facebook credits, restaurant vouchers, gas cards or movie tickets. You can even use your kicks to make donations to over 30 charities.
Here’s how it works, walk into a store and check-in using any check-in apps on your Android device. You will be given a list of items that you can scan. You will need to scan these items in order to redeem kicks. The more kicks you get you will level up.
It seems to take quite a bit of points in order to acquire the rewards, or any decent rewards. In order to get the $20 to $25 gift cards you will probably need to link your eligible Visa credit or debit card. This feature will help you earn more points on eligible purchases making it much easier to obtain a decent reward.The app also offers a nearby feature which shows you how many points you can get for nearby stores including exclusive discounts.
Overall, this is a pretty decent rewards program that offers pretty decent rewards. At the time of this review the shopkick Android App is free.
