The Stardash Android App by OrangePixel is a 2D retro style platform side scroller game. The object of the game is to get through each of the levels by running, jumping, collecting coins and unlocking special template levels. There are 4 different environments with 20 levels each in addition to unlocking the special temple levels.

The levels get quite difficult as you progress through the game and as early as level 2 you will notice this. Each level has different bad guy characters and obstacles that you will need to overcome. OrangePixel is no stranger to creating platform games and this game is no exception. They really did a great job at incorporating all of the elements that make platforming games fun to play and a challenge.

The controls are located on the bottom of the screen. The forward and backward arrows are in the bottom left hand side of the screen and the jump button is located in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. The controls are very responsive and don’t really get in the way of the gameplay. They could move the playing area up a bit just to avoid someone with large fingers getting in the way when the character is on the lower platforms.

Overall, this is yet another great platform game from OrangePixel for the Android platform. At the time of this review the Stardash Android App is $1.99. Thumbs Up.
