The oft-rumored Motorola Droid Bionic hit the streets last week, making it the most powerful phone available on Verizon’s superfast 4G LTE network. The Handset, powered by Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread, boasts a powerful 1Ghz dual-core TI OMAP processor, a full 1GB of Ram, and 32GB (16 microSD, 16 on board) of memory, enabling it to handle the latest games and apps with ease. The 4.3-inch qHD display is protected by a slab of ultra tough antireflective Gorilla Glass, which is perfect to display the 1080p HD movies you will capture with the 8MP rear camera with a built in LED flash. The Droid Bionic also comes equipped with a front facing 1.3MP camera for video chat. On the right side of the phone, there are the usual volume keys and microUSB port; however this device also packs a mini-HDMI out port. The Bionic is also Business Ready with advanced security policies; resizable and scrollable email, calendar and task widgets; device and SD card encryption; and Citrix GotoMeeting and Citrix Receiver. With the ability to utilize the same accessories as the Motorola Atrix, including the Lapdock which transforms the phone into a laptop, this powerhouse handset is a device to be reckoned with. Verizon is pricing this one at $299 with a two year contract. For an up close and personal with the Droid Bionic head to your local Verizon store or to Engadget for their hands on review.
