Diet Assistant Pro Android App Review

The Diet Assistant Pro Android app is a full featured diet management program for your Android phone. It distinguishes itself from the rest of the diet-app-pack by its rich feature set. The App contains a number of diets to choose from, such as “Soup Lover,” “Vegetables Going Wild,” Feed Your Muscles,” and “Feeling Full While Loosing Weight,” to name a few. Each diet gives you a variety of meal and snack choices, suited to your goal, and includes the recipes necessary for prepared meals.  If you are not particularly fond of a meal chosen for you on a specific day, not to worry; you can replace the meal with one of similar nutritional value quite easily. You can track your weight management progress and dietary balance using the graphs and charts automatically generated by your dietary choices and profile as well. In addition, the app gives you generally helpful dietary advice along the scrolling bar at the bottom, such as spraying salad dressing, eating slowly, and drinking enough water, to name a few I have seen.

That is not to say that the app is perfect, however. The app only takes input in metric, which as an American, requires me to do some conversions. Ultimately, I would say this app better than the average diet app, but a few more features, such as the ability to add foods not in the dietary plans to your daily nutritional intake, would make it top-notch. The app is free today at the Amazon App store, and is regularly $1.94.
