The Herman the Hermit Android App by Capcom Mobile is a side scroller game where the object is to get as far as you can while getting the highest score possible. The back story to this game is that Herman is a crazy old hermit who lives high in the Himalayan Mountains who has had years of meditation and training. As a result, Herman has developed Ninja-like skills and the mindset of a mad man.

The controls are based on swipes, so to move Herman from platform to platform simply make a swipe gesture to the platform that you want Herman to jump and land on. Along the way you will find quite a few different power ups which you can use to help get Herman father and gain more points.

Overall, this side scroller has unique controls and the graphics are very well done. The gameplay is a bit different from the traditional side scroller game due to the controls which makes it pretty fun to play. At the time of this review the Herman the Hermit Android App is $1.99. Thumbs Up.
