Planet in a Bottle Android App Review

The Planet in a Bottle Android App by PseudoBlue is a very simple game in which the objective is to keep your population of the planet alive for as long as possible. The game has no external controls or any menu options. There is a very simple method to this game: light, water, and life. That’s all you get from this game because that is all that is needed to sustain life. It appears also that this game reacts in real time and not in game time i.e. if it says to wait an hour to do something you must wait an actual hour to perform the task.

When you open up the game you will immediately be cast into the game and you will see your planet hanging in the balance of space. You will see a cloud to make it rain and a sun to provide light to your planet. Tapping on the planet will nudge it and earn you praise from your population. At the bottom of the screen will be your light meter, your water meter and your happiness meter. Keep an eye on these as they will guide you into creating a very successful planet. Hitting the menu button will give you access to the in game menu where you can check your stats and make sure your planet is doing well, as well as, supporting life on your planet.

Overall, this is a fun little game with not a lot of frills. It can keep you occupied for a bit, but I would like to see some more features. At the time of this review the Planet in a Bottle Android App is free. Needs some work.
