The Go SMS Pro by Go Dev Team app is a highly customizable SMS replacement tool. The purpose of this app is to replace the existing stock SMS application. Installing this app will not remove the current SMS app you have on your phone, it will simply replace it. You may need to go into the stock SMS app and turn off the notifications otherwise you will get duplicate notifications for every text message you receive. If you like this app then you will also want to make it the default app for sending text messages or you may have to choose the GO SMS app every time you long press on a contact and select the text message option.
Once the GO SMS app is opened you will see the threads of all your text messages just like in the stock SMS app. One great thing about GO SMS is it comes with its own default SMS popup so every time a text comes in a screen will pop up and you can read the text and reply as well without even opening the GO SMS app or the text message itself. Embedded in the options menu for GO SMS is every customization tool for SMS known to mankind. Everything for the text color, to the color of the background, SMS ringtones for specific contacts, and themes for the SMS application can be applied. This is one of the best and most highly customizable SMS replacements on the market.
Overall, this is a wonderful SMS replacement over the boring stock SMS app. At the time of this review Go SMS Pro by Go Dev Team was free and comes highly recommended! Thumbs up!

I need to warn you guys about this go sms pro app. It looks nice and pretty, however, it sometimes texts other people even if it stated that it went through to the person you want to text. This happened to me twice and just one today. At first, I thought I was going crazy or I maybe add the number in wrong but nope it actually texted someone else. So I text my brother but my friend got it. But when I look on my brother’s text box with his name, it said it went through to him. But when I “view details” in my brother’s text box, it was a different number (to my friend’s number). Very strange. And so my friend text me and told me I text the wrong person although the text box it went through. So Becareful! especially if you are texting about someone, it might accidently send it to someone you don’t want to know about. I have a Samsung Galaxy Nexus Prime.
i also have problem in receiving text message using go sms pro.. almost 3 mos. ago, i started receiving rambled text meassge from my girlfriend, and day a day, it getting worst..i think these text messages is came from her old message to me and its rambled to the new message.. I checked her sent items and its very different to the text messages that i received from my celphone. but the receiving date and time is correct.. i dont know if this FAKED MSGS. from other person or JUST error from Cellphone while using GO SMS PRO…PLEASE HELP ME TO THIS PROBLEM.. how can i identify if the text messages is FAKED or REAL.. Thank you in Advance for the help..
