Android App Review Source:
How did you get into developing apps?
RoqApps:
I’m a student at the Technical University of Dresden and very interested in mobile phones and programming. A few month ago I read about Android and the Open Handset Alliance and I thought that this might be a big opportunity. So I started reading documentation and began writing apps. Aside from that I need money to finance my study so I thought that this might be a good way to earn some Euros.

What was your inspiration for developing this app?
RoqApps:
My Currency was my first real App for this platform. For me it was sort of a learning app. I knew that if I could finish this sort of app then I’m able to write more apps for this platform. So it was a good learning experience for me.

Are there any hidden features to the app?
RoqApps:
No, there aren’t any hidden features.

Do you have any future plans for this app?
RoqApps:
Yes. In the next days or maybe two weeks there will be a bigger update. This update will provide an additional view to the user as well as other user interface enhancements.

Do you plan to develop any new apps? If so when can we expect to see them in the Market?
RoqApps:
Yes. I’m planning to release a board game called Latrunculi. It is a chess-like ancient Roman game. I’m already selling this game on the iPhone and I got some really good reviews for it. It’s hard to say when it will be ready. I planned to release it around Christmas this year, but there are still a lot of things to do. So let’s cross the fingers and hope that I can solve all the problems.
