How did you get into developing apps?

Octane Technologies:

My son Sameer started Octane Technologies in 2005 as a porting house. His ambition was to create a world class company. You can read more about it on our web site (www.octanetech.com). In 2008 we moved to working on Smart Phone applications, and released applications on both the Android and the iPhone.

What was your inspiration for developing this app?

Octane Technologies:

Our first Android application was iPingPong3D which we initially developed for the iPhone. It was a very successful application on the iPhone and we expected it to be very successful on the Android as well.

How long did it take to develop the app?

Octane Technologies:

Since the original application was developed for the iPhone, it took our team only a few weeks to create it for the Android especially since we were able to reuse the art work.

Not really. Pingpong is a very well known game.

Yes, we would like to make it a stronger multi-player game.

We are studying the Android market place. We are excited about the new operating system and plan to take full advantage of any new features.
